Steve Mono sandals, made from sustainable vegetable tanned leather sourced from a small group of tanneries in Tuscany.
In this traditional process they use tannins from tree barks – typically chestnut, mimosa and quebracho – which give the leather a beautiful look, smell and natural finish.
Vegetable tanned leather adapts and ages over time, it starts to take on a beautifully patina that is unique to each piece and darkens when exposed to UV light just like the human skin does.

To keep this leather looking its best, we recommend to:
Use a soft cloth to apply a light and even layer of uncolored leather cream and then brush it. This will remove any possible marks and small scratches from the surface.
Keep it away from sunlight and direct heat for prolonged periods of time as it causes leather to crack and dry out.
Do not allow it to get wet and do not expose it to humidity.
