Richard Mund Pottery
Richard Mund is a Canadian potter. After taking several Ceramics electives at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario with Roger Kerslake, he began working full time with clay in 1994 while apprenticing with Cunningham Pottery in Des Moines, Iowa.
He received his BFA from NSCAD in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he majored in ceramics with a focus on wheel throwing, mold making and Maiolica surface glazing techniques. He briefly worked as a ceramics technician, production thrower and continuing education instructor before establishing my own studio & showroom in 1997 in Neustadt, Ontario, a picturesque village in rural Grey County.
