Eyewear
KAMO is a European luxury Eyewear brand founded in Copenhagen in 2020 by Tim Hancock, with an ambition to translate design and emotions into products. KAMO is reinventing the world of luxury through a new approach, where creation is led by emotions, expressing a full and limitless brand universe. KAMO conceives objects using the highest quality materials available, and high-end design details to fuel a renewed approach to modern luxury.
Our glasses are produced by some of the world's best eyewear manufacturers, known for their experimentation with new production techniques, finishings, materials and detailing.
Each KAMO INTERNATIONAL® product is made of two basic structural pieces: the frame, which can be made entirely of cellulose acetate, entirely of metal, or a combination of the two materials, and top quality lenses. By teaming with exclusive lens company CARL ZEISS, KAMO INTERNATIONAL® eyewear has added a layer of quality eye-protection perfect for an extended everyday use.
Together with Mazzucchelli, the market leader in the production of acetate, we process acetate waste into our black frames. Our frames consist of 97% recycled acetate. The remaining 3% are merely black ink. For the non black-coloured frames we use bio-based acetate. This material is made without crude oil or toxic plasticisers, bringing pollution down to a minimum.
