Metha Wallace is trained in design and ceramics in England and Denmark.  The driving desire has been through making, and understanding qualities of material in relation to form and function.  Always aiming for the material to be in focus, for example, glazing should not distract from the unique qualities of the clay itself. Often looking at ceramics from times past for its enduring and timeless qualities. Sustainable design is achieved through an attention to quality above quantity, and the choice of production and materials are intended to have a minimal impact upon environmental resources.
