Blacksmith Ceramics

Hannah Blackall-Smith (Blacksmith Ceramics) is an English potter, living and working in Copenhagen since 2017. She is now working in her own studio. 

She works almost entirely on the wheel with stoneware and porcelain, creating timeless objects for everyday use. Her colours are muted and surfaces often has her signature  fluted textures. The fluting is done mid-way through the process when the clay is at its wettest. Her inspiration comes from historic pottery, Japanese aesthetics and Scandinavian design. 

All products are handmade, so sizes and colours may vary.
